I’m Joseph, 21, and I’ve been behind a camera since I was 17.

I started as an editor at a video production company, then moved into the music industry shooting music videos and working with Sony Music Group, Create Music Group, and C’est La Vie Records. Music videos gave me room to experiment, express myself, and learn how far an idea can go when you are not afraid to be creative.

From there, I moved into commercials, documentaries, and short form films for businesses and brands. I started Slate in December 2025 so I could bring that same freedom and imagination to people building something of their own.

What matters to me is what a film leaves behind in someone. I want the work to make people feel more than impressed. I want it to shift the way they see a life, a brand, or an idea. To leave them motivated, inspired, and ready to go make something of their own. That feeling is why I do this. Slate is how I use everything I love about filmmaking to help people grow what they care about, through beautiful films that find a different angle on life.
